The major concerns are the storage, use, and disposal of resins, paints, thinners, and other products.

Painting is conducted in paint booths or warehouse area. Exhaust fans transport particulates outside of the facility. The particulates could settle on the nearby ground.

Discharges of these products could impact soil and groundwater.

If contamination issues are unknown or unresolved, a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment on the boat manufacturing facility involving soil and groundwater testing should be conducted.
